This is a fun book for children that has Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Pluto and Ferdinand the Bull as they go through the school year. Donald Duck doesn't want to go back to school until he realizes that everyone is learning things he doesn't know in his best subject. He dislikes spelling because he spells everything backwards, but learns how to spell by the end of the year. They have a Thanksgiving dinner for a family down the road where the father is ill, and they have a Christmas party. When Spring comes Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck are truant and go fishing; Mickey saves Donald Duck from drowning with help from Toby Tortoise. The last day of school is a picnic, and they all have a good time until a bull shows up, but then they realize it's Ferdinand so he joins the picnic and all is happy. The cover has light scuffing front and back; the corners have very light wear. The spine bottom shows moderate wear but the text block is sound. The endpapers are decorated; there is a light pencil mark on the front, with the prior owners name writtin on the inside board. A few of the pages have light pencil marks but there is no scribbling and none of the color illustrations are marred (nor is the text). ; Color Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 102 pages
