A Tell-a-Tale Book, #867. This is a story about a family that had several pets, and Daddy brought home a baby goat. The goat was very friendly and wanted to do everything the other animals did, curl up like a cat, chase it's tale like a dog and imitate the rooster. One day he finally figured out that he was a goat. The binding is red with a picture of Smoky on the front. All of the corners have light wear, the spine moderate wear. The spine is tight, with moderate wear at the ends. There is a light scratch on the front if viewed at a certain angle. The endpapers are light green with white stars, toys and an elephant. The front endpaper has pencil marks in a few places. All of the pages are bright and clean, the illustrates are done in bright colors and the text is very easy for a child to read. ; 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall
