It is a book about a club of girls, teens, who spend lots of time together, solve a mystery, and end up in a leaky boat. They also confront a bear in the wilderness. 212 pages, the cloth pictorial binding is worn at the spine top, has very light wear at the spine bottom, is worn at the top and bottom corners, and along the bottom as though it got caught on something sharp. There are four small holes at the bottom front. The top front has wear in one small area, aside from the corners. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
