At the end of each section there is a short exercise based on what was just read. A good book for home schooling. The binding has wear on the corners, and near the spine bottom there is a small tear. The binding is tight. 128 pages, all are fine with no tears or marks. They are slightly yellowed. The inside back cover has a pencil scrawl on it. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
