Price: $20.24

Quantity: 1 available

Illustrated Library Edition of The Complete Works of W. M. Thackery. Volume 19 of 22. The Roundabout Papers grew out of Thackery's connection with The Cornhill Magazine in which they first appeared, in the years 1860-1863, being afterward collected in book form. As the first of the Roundabout Papers intimates, Thackery, as editor, made use of a form to put himself in close communication with his readers. Humor and satire are prevalent throughout his writings. Includes 79 illustrations by himself and others. The deep green cloth cover has gilt titles on the spine and page tops. There is a very light damp stain on the front which can be seen in a certain light. [13]; 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall
