The innocent young woman found that she was at the heart of Palace feuds, intrigues and scandals which were to boost her from public favor. The binding is green cloth with a library cover on the DJ. Recovered from a hospital library closing, it has an envelope opposite the half-title page and a stamp and partial sheet on the half-title page. Usual stamps. 269 pages, including a bibliography. The jacket has received a new cover.

The purple cloth binding has a light spot on the front. The DJ has been covered in acrylic, and has a few chips at the bottom at the spine. 318 pages. This book was rescued from a hospital library that was closing. There are stamps on the outside edges and the usual envelope and stamps inside. Very few stamps.
