The shreewd little Belgian detective has returned to Styles Court, the scene of his first English adventure in crime. The handsome country mansion is now a guest house and Poirot, old and arthritic, is one of it's guests. He invites his friend Capt. Hastings to join him, revealing the reason: Someone at Styles is responsible for several murders, someone the law cannot touch. The binding is fine; the bottom edge of the pages is darkened in places, as is the vertical edge (appears to be soil). The jacket has a 1" tear at the front flap, a 1" tear at the spine and a few small tears. The bottom has a few tears at the spine and a few small tears at the front where the jacket was bent over.
