Looking At Florence, Fusi, Rolando; Hollingworth, Michael (translated by)
3 Fusi, Rolando; Hollingworth, Michael (translated by) Looking At Florence
Signed by the author - The city of Florence (Firenze) is showcased in this beautifully illustrated volume. The colors are intense, and the text is interesting and enjoyable. If you have been to Florence you will recognize the many small museums and out-of-the-way places where wonderful works of art, of all types, can be found. If you are planning a trip, this is a fabulous pre-visit book to read or thumb through. Try to get there early, or stay a day or two to take in all there is. If you are early enough, you can take a boat to the Island of Murano and see glass blown and purchase beautiful items. If art isn't your thing, the architecture in Florence is amazing. Included are 194 color illustrations, and the book was put in a fitted cover so it has no damage at the corners or elsewhere. This book includes as well, a panoramic view in "Photorama 180" which is laid in the back and has about half of the first page missing as someone tried to take it out. An index is included which is divided into Churches, Monuments and General Views, Museums and Galleries, Buildings, and Squares (piazzas) which are great for people-watching. ; Italian Artistica; Vol. 20; Color Photographs; 4to 9" - 11" tall; 128 pages; Signed by Author
