This is a cookbook put together by Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dundee, Illinois. Dundee is a small town so there are many "homey" recipes in here as well as lots of the unusual. Breaded olives, Indian Relish, Beet Relish, Treacle Cake, Italian Beef, Hungarian Goulash and the list goes on and on. The recipes are arranged alphabetically within categories so things are pretty easy to find. Beyond the regular fare of most cookbooks, they include a section of low calorie dishes, and beverages, sandwiches and miscellaneous. There's also a recipe for a happy home, equivalent measures, cooking tips, quickie appetizers and more. 302 pages including an index. The cookbook is in great shape, doesn't have spatters on it, has a photograph of the church on the front. None of the pages is torn or torn out. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

In the beginning of the book they give guidelines on cooking pork products, including a glossary and tools used. There is a photo and short biography of each chef, and each chef has about three recipes in the book. No marks or tears. The binding is slightly worn at the edges. The binding was attached improperly so that the bound pages do not go to the end of the spine, but are about 1/4" away. Does not affect recipes. ; 4to - over 9 3/4" to 12" tall; 105 pages
