25 Madison, Lucy Foster Bee and Butterfly a Tale of Two Cousins
The way a butterfly begins as a caterpillar and emerges as a beautiful butterfly induced the author to attempt to depict the transformation of a careless maiden into noble womanhood. In this book, the process has begun. There are heart burnings, and troubles of girlhood. Two later novels finish the metamorphosis. The binding is blue cloth with gold lettering and several butterflies on the front, one the spine. The lettering has faded near and on the spine, which is moderately sunned.
