25 West, Jerry The Happy Hollisters and the Mystery of the Little Mermaid
The Hollisters were on a transatlantic flight when one of the passengers, a woman, asked if this was their first visit to Denmark. On assent, she told them of some wonderful things they should see, including the Little Mermaid. She had in a case a miniature of the Little Mermaid, which she was returning to the Queen. She brought it out of the box to show the children, and as she was talking about it another passenger seemed overly interested in it. He asked also to see it; she put it back in the case and gave it to him. He looked at it and returned it. As everyone was leaving the plane, there was a sudden call to stay - that a theft had occurred on the airplane! The two older Hollister children were thrilled and immediately started tracing clues, but the man who had looked at the miniature was too fast for them. They were determined to find him in Denmark. 184 pages, 1 is quite wrinkled. The binding is maroon with children running together int he lower right quarter.
