4 Prayers for Children
#205, "A". The roundfaced little children on the front of the cover are adorable. Several children's prayers are presented, including a Morning Prayer, A Child's Grace (3 versions) , A Great Gray Elephant, A Child's Prayer, The Gift, and several more. The last page is mostly torn out - at least the "A" was still intact! This is a most beautifully illustrated book and is special for that reason alone. The binding front corners are worn through, the back corners lightly worn. There is light shelf wear on the bottom and wear at the spine ends. The bottom end a tiny bit lifted in the back. The silver foil is intact. The inside boards are also decorated. All of the pages except the one mentioned, are clean with no marks or tears. The nameplate has 2 names written in ink. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

030702069X / 9780307020697; #451-09. C.1950 edition J. Frosty appeared as a song in 1950 and from there was adapted to a story and motion picture. 24 Crampton, Gertrude Scuffy the Tugboat and His Adventures Down the River
A Little Golden Book. Scuffy is a red toy tugboat with a blue stack. He became restless just sitting in the toy store, so the owner brought him home. He wanted to be in water, but didn't like the bathtub; he liked the creek. It moved fast and in no time Scuffy was out of sight, while the water grew deeper and wider. The binding shows a water stain which is on every page, the right bottom to about half way up the edge. There is wear on the spine; the decorative black is missing in man places. On the book plate a person's name is neatly printed. On the title page it looks as though another child tried to write his name - at least it's neat! The pages have no marks or tears except for water in the right corner. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
