This is a glossy, fully illustrated book of Christmas stories printed in the Czech Republic. They include Santa's Ride, The Little Rabbit and the Forgetful Elf, The Night Before Christmas, Colin and The Gnomes' Circus, and Santa's Best Coat. 13 stories in all. Binding has light wear on some corners. 100 pages; all, except the color-in page, are fine. The page a child can color started out alright but ended up in a blue scribble in one area.

The book is worn at the bottom corners and both ends of the spine. The lamination on the cover is beginning to come up on the front and back near the spine, and is missing at the bottom in back near the spine. 208 pages, heavy paper, with wonderful illustrations - I remember them from my volume long ago! No marks or tears.

One of ten volumes of the Lock and Key Library set. A great selection of fourteen stories are included by such authors as F. Marion Crawford, Melville D. Post, Ambrose Bierce, Edgar Allen Poe, Washington Irving, Nathanial Hawthorne and others. 370 pages, the book is red cloth with gold lettering on the spine. All corners and the spine ends are worn; the bottom spine edge is somewhat frayed. The frontispiece, by Peter Newell, is intact with tissue paper. Seven pages have the very upper corner missing. The binding is tight.
