Thorndyke, Helen Louise Honey Bunch: Her First Little Circus
The author's name is a pseudonym for Mildred Wirt Benson, the writer of the Nancy Drew series. The Honey Bunch series was only one set of titles written under a pseudonym - she used several others. The frontispiece appears to have been black & white, but colored in later by a child. Pretty good job! 186 pages with red at the top. The cloth binding is deep red, but the color has lightened at the front vertical edge and at other spots. There are five small holes at the gutter in front, lightening on the back cover, and holes almost continuously for 2" at the bottom back gutter. The fabric is chipped and lightened in areas on the spine. There is wear at the corners and both spine ends are bent. The end papers are decorative, and have the name of a prior owner in the front. There is light spotting on the end papers. The binding is sound, with no loose pages. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

Thorndyke, Helen Louise Honey Bunch: Her First Trip West
Number nine in the series. This volume is a reprint; red cloth binding with an attractive color past-down on the front. Black lettering on the spine in excellent condition. This book is about Honey Bunche's trip west by train with her father. She is a dainty, thoughtful little girl, and to know her is to take her to your heart at once. The spine ends are bent in a bit, and the top is a bit lightened. There is wear to the top front corner, and a bit missing on the lower right side of the paste-down. The pages are red stained at the top, but it is lighter near the spine. The spine is cracked at the title page, but all pages are in tight. The jacket has a 1/2" piece missing from the top, wear at the corners, a 1/2" tear at the bottom and a small piece missing on the front at the spine. The lower spine has a 1 1/4" split on the jacket in front, a 1" tear at the back, and a small piece missing. The spine top is missing a 1/4" piece, and a 1/4" tear. Illustrated in b&w, the jacket is in a protective cover. Four pages of ads at the end.
