1962; HB with DJ. Illustrated by Brinton Turkle. DJ is good, two small tears at the top, otherwise no wear. Beautiful colored pencil drawing of a yount boy. Binding is fine. Inside front cover has a library stamp; back cover has an envelope. Acknowledgements page, last page, also has the library stamp. 127 pages, light age yellowing, otherwise fine. This book illustrates the challenges of a blind child in starting school, reading braille, writing a letter, swimming etc. Simple illust rations throughout; large type for a young reader.
