Hatch, K. I.; Hazelwood, J. A. Elementary Agriculture with Practical Arithmetic Frontispiece is a beautiful shot of bovines trotting along. The preface of this book indicates that Agriculture at the time must concentrate on improving poor soil, and cultivating more out of good soil. The subject covered primarily is planting, although the three C's are covered (cows, corn, and clover). Also discusses extermination of various types of insects - sap suckers, etc. The binding is a medium tan color. There is significant wear on all corners and both ends of spine. The spine is tight but cocked. There are several small spots on the cover front and back. 198 pages, includes numerous photos and drawings. Many types of cows are identified through photos. Includes index. This was the teachers edition, so there are few spots on the pages, and no tears. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Row, Peterson & Co. Chicago, IL, 1907, Hardcover, Fair, No Jacket; Book
